My name is Emma G. Ohrt and I am a Spring 2027 alum from Clemson University. Throughout my career at Clemson, I have earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with an emphasis in Spanish & a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.

Currently, my research interests surround the culturally-informed perspective and memory, collective identity formed along distinct cultural boundaries, and indigenous languages & their preservation. Having continued to have the opportunity to deeply explore these interests through ethnographies, GIS mapping, and an oral history documentary, I remain deeply passionate and eternally curious along my journey to becoming a cultural and linguistic anthropologist.
